It all started back in 1997 when my wife’s family brought home a beautiful, energetic and loving wheaten named Wesley. Wesley was truly one of a kind. I met him in 2007 and he and I hit it off from the start. Well, as well as a stranger can hit it off with a well established wheaten. After a few months of courting him with every type of treat I could find, he and I became best buds. He loved dressing up, going for rides in the car, eating snow, eating pool water, jumping up on curbs during our walks and most of all, his family. My wife and her family can tell stories about Wesley for hours. He was the light of their lives, and mine for the short time I knew him. This blog is dedicated to the memory of Wesley, or, “The Great One” as he is lovingly referred to when in the presence of our new arrival, Andy. Wherever you are right now, we miss you!!
